Tenant Farmer Suicide — Narnoor Mandal, Adilabad

Rathod Murari(43)” has committed suicide on 12–02–2018 at 7.30 AM because of debts. He has 10 acres of land in kerameri mandal Babjeri village in Komaram Bheem District our of which his wife has 5 acres of land. And he took 8 acres for lease in Mahagaon Village, Narnoor Mandal. He has Rs.1,40,000 of crop loan in Deccan Grameena bank and also Rs. 1,80,000 of private debt. They belong to Lambada Caste

Family details : His wife name is Meerabai. He has 7 children, 6 daughters and one son. Two daughters got married, one very recently.

Crop loss Details : He cultivated Cotton in his own land and in tenant land also in current year(2018). He got less yield and his crop was loss due to Pink boll worm. He was able to get only 8 Quintals in his 10 acre own land, and only 5 Quintals in 8 acres of Land.

Police inquiry was done. MRO,VRO has not visited the field yet.

The family situation is very bad & they don’t have a proper house to stay too. As their relatives are in Narnoor, the farmer chose to take land for lease there.

Current status is the Ex-grtia has been sanctioned, but is pending as the wife of victim, Meera Bhai’s Aadhar card is pending for change of address.

Below is a list of her immediate needs so that she can take care of her 5 children who stay along with her now.

Ration not being sanctioned, as her Aadhar card is in diff district (Asifabad)

She is suffering from Typhoid. Asha worker has visited and given medicine, but she is suffering from 1 month.

NFBS amount needs to be given immediately.

As she has many kids, she would not be able to do farm work, hence has requested for Kirana shop for livelihood.

Pooja (3rd class) needs to be put in residential school.

Land Succession needs to be done for her land on name of her late husband. The land is located in Khera Meri, Asifabad.

AAY card can be proposed.
One time settlement needs to be done by the MRO.

Her youngest son Vinayak(2 years old) has his tongue stuck in his mouth and is unable to speak. She is worried about and needs help with treatment.
