Name: Gayathri Aruswami

Role: Associate Solution Architect for KiSSFLOW

How do you make KiSSFLOW great?

I make the world realize how great KiSSFLOW is by providing solutions to customers on top of the KiSSFLOW platform.

Why did you choose your profession?

After graduating from college, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I somehow found an opportunity here and discovered my love for talking to customers, solving their problems, and interacting with them continuously. I got hooked on this job since then.

What are two things you like best about your hometown?

I come from a small town called Pollachi in Tamil Nadu. The place is surrounded by beautiful hillocks, coconut trees, and grazing cattles. It’s a popular site for shooting movies and the sandhai market. I personally like the good weather it has all year round and the laid-back lifestyle.

If you could choose an age to remain forever, which age would you choose? Why?

I would definitely choose my school days because I had so much fun back then. I especially enjoyed the time between 8th to 10th grade when I and my friends used to dance a lot. I was surrounded by a good circle of friends and lovely teachers.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

There are a couple of them. I used to cut classes with my friends in school to watch an early morning movie show. My father used to work in the same neighborhood, so it was likely for us to get caught. Despite that, I would always be the first person to rush to the theatre and book tickets for all my friends.

Also, I go crazy for Michael Jackson’s moon-walk. I’ve been practicing it for a while now, but I haven’t been able to pull it off nicely.

What’s your favorite way to end a long day?

I’ll watch a movie or I’ll sleep on an issue that’s bothering me.

What did 2016 change for you?

Personally, I figured out a way to strike a balance between my work life and personal life. It was a bit tough initially, but I’ve finally learned how to allocate time for both.

Professionally, I did a lot of consulting work in the past year. That has helped me test the product capabilities and made me realize about the areas we need to improve to compensate the shortcomings.

Characteristics you admire in other people?

The ability to forgive and move forward. I like people who take things easy no matter whatever it is.

What grinds your gears?

I’ll go off if I’m hungry and I’m not getting food on time.

What’s the other side of Gayathri that your colleagues haven’t seen at work?

I’m not so quiet as everyone thinks I’m. I’m a chatterbox outside of work. And I eat a lot…I love food!

From the team:

What’s Gayathri’s signature work at KiSSFLOW?

Within a few months of moving into the consulting work, she was given the responsibility to work on creating a generic functionality that will enable users to import all the process requests into KiSSFLOW.

She put all her efforts into learning Google App Scripts from scratch to build the tool. This made it very easy for users to process data.

One thing that Gayathri is great at:

She’s great at mapping solution design to meet customer requirements.

Any strange habits?

She only drinks hot water. We’ve never seen her drinking cold or room temperature water. Also, she sounds like a completely different person when she talks to someone in Kongu Tamil, her native tongue.

What would Gayathri possibly do if she won a lottery?

She will presumably go back to her hometown and settle there. She loves it there.
