Forest Biome

Introduction

Forests are one of the best biomes for farming and they are one of the richest biomes in number of trees. Land plots in forest biomes have multiple advantages for farmers, so if you are looking forward to spending your time farming on your land, you can consider forests as one of the best choices. Besides your own land plot, you can find various trees while exploring the world in the forest regions, which you can cut down to use their wood for heat or to craft items. Forests have many unnatural creatures and other interesting beings and places that you can encounter; You won’t regret the time you will spend in the Kitsumon world’s forests!

Effects on Professions

There are some advantages and some disadvantages to having a plot of land in the forest biome. Some professions benefit from this biome and for some it can be detrimental, so it’s important to make sure it’s right for the profession you want to progress in.

Farming:

• Growing speed for all plants is increased by 5%
• Growing speed for Trees (except Magic Trees) is increased by 15%
• Amount of animal products (milk, meat, etc.) is increased by 5%
• The chance of getting sick for animals is decreased by 15%
• One type of special horse can only be raised in this region

Mining:

• Rock respawn rate (also based on mine layer) is decreased by 10%
• Chance to extract ore from rocks is decreased by 5%

Cooking:

• Cooking is unaffected by forest biomes and is similar to the Plains biome

Crafting:

• Crafting XP increase per level by leveling up decreases by 10% compared to other biomes. (XP increase will be 8.46% instead of 9.4% per level up)

Alchemy:

• Item making speed (Potion, amulet, talisman, rune) is increased by 5%
• Chance to fail is increased by 5%

Fishing:

• Chance to reproduce (breed) for all fish types is increased by 6.5%

Forests are relatively common in the Kitsumon world and make up a good amount of all the lands. Forests can be found near Plains, Swamps, Beaches, Forbidden Forests and water in general. Forests are the home of many rare creatures and by exploring the forests of Kitsumon you will encounter these sensational beings. Some will be friendly, but you will have to be very careful while approaching others. Final advice, don’t go alone deep into the jungles!
