Kitsune was the first Kitsu to be discovered in the world of Kitsumon, with its fox-like appearance and nine tails it was reminisent of Japanese folklore and its magical Kitsune, hence its namesake. A magical creature of fire with the power of healing, Kitsune is considered the wisest amongst all the Kitsus.

Background Story

As the primal core of the Kitsumon World was formed and the first bits of life and nature began to sprout on the fertile lands, one being was there to see it all — the one called Kitsune. At first it only had one tail — then over the milennia the world of Kitsumon grew and grew, and so did Kitsune’s tails and wisdom alike. Kitsune is the essence that allowed the other Kitsus to be born into the world, taking concepts from our world that had formed the Kitsumon World and giving them life in the shape of the 20 GEN-0 Kitsus. Kitsune cares greatly about all Kitsus as their progenitor and is the wisest of them all.

Elements

Fire

Fire is the essence of both creation and destruction. It can cover big areas and deal damage over time, as well as augment a Kitsu’s strength and speed. Because of their immense strength, fire-based abilities are often expensive and lacking in range or duration.

Mana

The Kitsumon world is filled with a mysterious element called Mana. Those with an affinity for this element can harness the latent Mana around them to perform versatile spells for healing, movement, ranged attacks and more.

Abilities

The following ability concepts may change in the future.

Kitsune combines fire and mana to haul a magical ball of flame at the target location that deals AoE damage and leaves a burning area after impact. Enemies in the area take damage, allies in the area receive healing over time.

Fiery energy reinforces Kitsune’s paws, increasing its movement speed for the duration of the ability. Kitsune’s first attack after activating Quick Paws will briefly stun the enemy it hits.

While this ability is active, Kitsune gets a boost to its damage and restores mana by damaging enemies.

Kitsune creates winds of mana around itself that boost the movement speed of nearby allies while they stay inside the area of effect.

Kitsune stores a percentage of the damage it receives. Activating Health Funnel converts the stored damage into health for itself or the target ally.

Activating Secret Nine grants Kitsune a very brief window to absorb an incoming attack. If an attack is successfully absorbed, Kitsune gains heavily increased resistances against that attack’s element for a duration.

Kitsune burns through its mana reserves to create a raging firestorm around itself that continuously damages enemies while they stay in the area of effect.

Kitsune temporarily transforms into the primordial Ninetails guardian, unlocking a new set of powerful abilities while the transformation is active.

Passives

Passives are used in different areas like the MOBA, professions, racing and breeding. They are always active and have no cooldown.

Successful hits on single-target attacks/abilities will briefly slow the target due to their powerful impact.

This Kitsu is deeply in tune with nature. Having its beneficial presence in your farm makes your crops grow faster and stronger.

A powerful force runs through the limbs of this Kitsu, allowing it to accelerate faster and achieve a higher top-speed.
