Introduction

Crafting is a profession that is essential for all the other professions and skills in Kitsumon. All players will need to either invest in crafting or interact with other craftsmen to get their necessary items and to build constructions on their land. Craftsmen can build various constructions needed for different professions, craft tools and other items, create glass-based tools, sew clothes, and even create advanced machines. Crafting is divided into 4 sub-professions, which are Tool Crafting, Construction, Smithing, and Innovation. Tool Crafting itself has 3 sub categories called Glassblowing, Tailoring and General Crafting. Crafting is arguably the most profitable profession in Kitsumon as all the other professions rely on the products that craftsmen can make. Make progress in crafting to unlock access to various items and either use them yourself or sell them for big bucks on the marketplace!

Craftsmen will need workshops to conduct business and to craft all the tools that they can build. Workshops are buildings in which craftsmen can put their workbenches, which is where all the crafting happens. Upgrading your workshop will unlock better workbenches, more capacity to store your crafting items, and will also boost your crafting-related stats. So make sure you upgrade your workshop at every chance you get, and level up in the crafting profession to unlock more workshop upgrades.

Tools

There are many different types of workbenches that craftsmen can use to craft different types of items. Each one of these workbenches can be upgraded to unlock blueprints for new and better tools, buildings and machines. You can also unlock new features such as auto-crafting tools by upgrading your workbenches.

Construction

Constructions are one of the biggest parts of Kitsumon. No matter what you want to do, you will need to build different types of constructions to progress. Farmers need greenhouses, coops and barns, chefs need kitchens, craftsmen need workshops, fishermen need aquariums, and alchemists need labs; All of these buildings are built by craftsmen who have progressed in the “Construction” sub-profession. You can build buildings for yourself, or sell buildings that you have built as NFTs to other players that need those buildings. Other than buildings, constructors can also build construction-related facilities such as walls, windows, ground tiles, feeding benches, breeding paddocks and even things like fences, pathways, and bridges.

Other than being used in buildings, walls can also be used to prevent people or creatures from entering inside your land plot. Put walls across your land plot and protect your land from intruders, and to make sure none of your animals end up getting lost! There are multiple types of walls that are different from one another in endurance and value. Some of these types are clay walls, wooden walls, iron walls, and gold walls.

Fences are essential facilities for farmers. Farmers can use fences to protect their plants from diseases and from getting eaten by animals. They can also keep most types of animals safe and sheltered inside your farm.

Bridges can be used outside of land plots on rivers to create a path from one area on the map to another area. Bridges can be used by all the players in the game, but you will gain XP when other players cross it!

You can progress in crafting’s construction sub-profession to build boardwalks near the sea. Boardwalks can become a point of interest for all the fishermen, and you can receive commission from other players for building them.

There are multiple kinds of storages for different items. Some types are buildings, such as warehouses for general items and silos for hay. Some storages like chests and barrels can be moved easily, and some can even be equipped by the player, like Inventory Satchels. All these storages are built and crafted by craftsmen regardless of their types and applications.

Tool Crafting Types

Glassblowing Subclass

Glassblowing is a sub category of the Tool Crafting sub-profession. You will first need to buy a glassblowing pipe in order to start glassblowing. By progressing in this sub-profession, you will unlock new blueprints for glass items. These items can either be tools that are used in cooking and alchemy such as glass bowls, glass cups, jars, potion flasks, etc. or building components such as windows.

General Crafting Subclass

General Crafting is a sub category of Tool Crafting dedicated to crafting almost all the tools that are used in other professions. These tools include pickaxes, shovels, axes, knives, rakes, hoes, fishing rods, frying pans and more. By progressing in this sub-profession, you will be able to upgrade these tools or craft higher level versions of them.

Tailoring Subclass

Tailors are craftsmen who have gained experience in sewing clothes. These players have unlocked the skills to sew dresses, outfits, shirts, pants, hats and more. But this is not all! Other than human clothing, they can also make colorful and stunning clothes for your Kitsus! Kitsu cosmetics include masks and other wearable items!

Crafting Quests

Prepare for crafting quests that will challenge you and also reward you for your triumph in these adventures. Crafting quests can be as simple as crafting certain items, or finding rare blueprints in dungeons that are full of traps and dangerous threats!
