Void Biome
Introduction
Enter the Void to face what it feels to feel nothing. The Void is one of the 3 special biomes and by far the most unique biome in the entire game. Players who decide to enter the Void should be prepared to face the unseen. These lands seem to be stuck in time, as they show signs of the Void consuming reality before the Big Bang that created the Kitsumon Metaverse. These lands sing the hymns of Annihilation, yet they also bring the gift of life. In its eerie quietude, there are endless possibilities.
Effects on Professions
Land plots in the Void biome act differently if they are the only land the player owns, compared to if the player owns one of the adjacent land plots as well. If the Void land plot is the only one you own, you should be ready for the worst. However, if you own a land plot that borders onto your Void plot, the Void will consume the positive stats of your other plot and give you great benefits. Below is a breakdown of the different effects.
Initial Effects on Farming:
- No animals can be raised in this land
- No edible herbs can grow in this land
- No Max Level farming tools, buildings, or machinery can be used here
Effects on Farming if you own a plot next to your Void land:
- All the initial effects on farming will be eliminated
- Your Void biome will have the double of all the positive effects of your other biome, and none of the negative effects
- If you own multiple lands bordering your Void Land, all the lands’ positive effects will apply to your Void Biome Land
- Max Level tools and machinery will have 50% more endurance
Initial Effects on Mining:
- Spawn rate will be 30% lower for all the rocks in your land’s mines
- The Bird Pickaxe and Razorback Pickaxe cannot be used here
- 10% lower XP for all mining activities
- 20% lower chance of extraction for all rocks
Effects on Mining if you own a plot next to your Void land:
- All the initial effects on mining will be eliminated
- Your Void biome will have the double of all the positive effects of your other biome, and none of the negative effects
- If you own multiple lands bordering your Void Land, all the lands’ positive effects will apply to your Void Biome Land
- 20% higher chance of extraction for all rocks
Initial Effects on Cooking:
- Kitchen Level 10 is not available in this land
- 5% lower XP for all cooking activities
- Chance to burn food increases by 20% for all foods
- You cannot build ice-cream machines or make ice-cream here
Effects on Cooking if you own a plot next to your Void land:
- All the initial effects on cooking will be eliminated
- Your Void biome will have the double of all the positive effects of your other biome, and none of the negative effects
- If you own multiple lands bordering your Void Land, all the lands’ positive effects will apply to your Void Biome Land
- You will have a 50% chance of getting double ice cream
Initial Effects on Crafting:
- You cannot craft any of the max level tools, machinery, and buildings
- Level 10 Workshop is not available in this land
- 10% lower XP for crafting
Effects on Crafting if you own a plot next to your Void land:
- All the initial effects on crafting will be eliminated
- Your Void biome will have the double of all the positive effects of your other biome, and none of the negative effects
- If you own multiple lands bordering your Void Land, all the lands’ positive effects will apply to your Void Biome Land
- Crafting Max Level tools, machinery, and buildings give 40% more XP
Initial Effects on Fishing:
- You cannot reproduce some types of fish
- You cannot have a Level 3 Aquarium
- 15% Lower XP for all in-land fishing activities
Effects on Fishing if you own a plot next to your Void land or if your Void land is next to the sea:
- All the initial effects on crafting will be eliminated
- Your Void biome will have the double of all the positive effects of your other biome, and none of the negative effects
- If you own multiple lands bordering your Void Land, all the lands’ positive effects will apply to your Void Biome Land
- 30% higher chance of reproduction for all fish types
- 15% higher XP for all in-land fishing activities
Initial Effects on Alchemy:
- 15% speed increase for all Alchemy Tools
- 5% XP increase for all Alchemy activities
- Some Alchemy items can only be made in this biome
Effects on Alchemy if you own a plot next to your Void land:
- All the initial effects on Alchemy stay active
- Your Void biome will have the double of all the positive effects of your other biome, and none of the negative effects
- If you own multiple lands bordering your Void Land, all the lands’ positive effects will apply to your Void Biome Land
The Void is the rarest biome in Kitsumon, together with the Moon Touched and Forbidden Forest biomes. Similar to the extraordinary effect of the Void on professions, the open world of the Void is also not an everyday walk in the park. Other than the various objects that can instantly teleport you to a random location, there are also multiple Void Paintings, Void Monsters, and Void Anomalies, that can either reward you or harm you greatly!
