A New Challenge: Gratitude and Encouragement, Post 41
Inspirational Quote
Philippians 1:6, The Passion Translation
I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Gratitude Inducer
I love knowing that I am a work in progress (well, maybe love is too strong a kick to my ego ;) ). Unless I willfully turn my back on Him, He will never be finished with me until the other side of eternity, and that is something to be thankful for.
This Week’s Nominees
Although the challenge is already detailed in Post 1, here’s a bulleted summary:
- Provide one inspirational quote. If you’re Christian, use the Bible; if you have another faith, use your holy book; if you wander, use proverbs from your culture or lines from significant literature.
- Briefly state who or what the quote reminds you of and why you’re thankful for the person or quality
- Try to limit making negative posts, and try to ignore the negative posts of others.
- Set a time limit. I am using 42 days, but you can use 7, 14, 21, or 30.
- When using a longer time period, periodically tag up to 3 people to carry on the challenge. I will probably tag once a week on a Saturday.
And the nominees for this final week are…
