American Babylon the Fallen

Sometimes I think I am the only one sane in a culture gone mad.

The desire to work death march hours for a check that doesn’t cover the rent to own things that lose value makes no sense.

He who dies with the most toys is still dead. Only his toys remain behind to be misused by the government against his heirs.

We are the richest culture in the world, yet our kids are so socially and emotionally starved they mistake an electronic thumbs-up for real and vibrant social connection.

Our government uses people instead of serving of the people, by the people, for the people.

The government breaks our backs with tax tyranny at triple the rate that sent the Founding Fathers into rebellion.

But the government beast is too big to overthrow, too complex to restrain and retrain while the working class dies trying or gives up to get on the dole.

Meanwhile the culture of sex, drugs, and rock and roll makes enough money to fund the working class, but the government blinds its eyes and shuts its hands to the wealth of this impoverished source to relieve the masses.

America the Great is going the way of Babylon and Rome at hyper speed.
