Blazing Silver

I chased a silver fox
Through the fields ripe for harvest.
The fire of God’s love
Burned brightly in his tale.
The light blinded me
As I danced
To the rhythm of his tale’s bob.
My heart and soul yearned
To wrap in his silver fur,
Yet I had no will to slay him
By grabbing him by the tail.
I cast my love in a glance,
And the silver fox was trapped,
Webbed in by… whatever.
His fire set my heart ablaze,
And together we light the night.
