Be silent | Don’t speak |
So perpetrators grow strong

Be silent | Don’t speak |
So silence strangles victims

Be silent | Don’t speak |
So bystanders go unchallenged by Truth

Stop | Speak | Tell | Share

To end the cycle of verbal and emotional blackmail, we must open our hearts and ears.

We must shout into the silence, if not with words, then with deeds.

Love, joy, patience, peace, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control — no true law forbids them.

Author’s Note: Written in response to several urban legends and news stories about bullying as well as a quote by Yehuda Bauer:

I come from a people who gave the Ten Commandments to the world. Time has come to strengthen them by three additional ones, which we ought to adopt and commit ourselves to: thou shall not be a perpetrator; thou shall not be a victim; and thou shall never, but never, be a bystander.
