Fighting Love

I loved his wisdom,
So I married him (agism),
Even though his body doesn’t always cooperate (ablism)
And he doesn’t have a college degree (intellectualism, statusism).
Now, everyone seems so unhappy
Because he’s grown me into a strong human (sexism)
And we share the same pew each Sunday (denominationalism).
Why is it two people living in love and peace
End up surrounded by so much discord (of -isms)?
