Freely Bound

Written in response to Chains, a one-line poem by Noha Medhat

I am bound, chained, gagged by the expectations society has for me, as a woman, as a mother, as a wife, as a worker; if I never break free, I can never see the real me as a fully engaged and loving authentic human living a full life as I walk out what I’m truly called to be.
