Author’s Note: This was written the day after the great nor’easter of March 2017. I had discovered I had no internet with which to pursue my career and personal goals. I’ve also just realized how spoiled we are in this corner of the globe.

Problem with lines…
Checking lines…
Always red and green, stop and go…
Bad 80s jazz…
Wonder if he lost the robot script?
Waiting, waiting, always waiting…
Refresh is failing,
Dispatch must be sent…
One week?!?

So glad pen, ink, and paper and books —
Always on and functional —
Don’t require the tangled web!
