Ninefold Poetry Series, Post 1

An experiment in following the rules of another

Welcome to another Saturday from the archives!

A long time ago on my other blog (Kittie Phoenix Living Romans 08), I had connected to an awesome blogger by the name of Ninefold Dragon. He created a style of poetry called ninefold.

A long time ago on my other blog (Kittie Phoenix Living Romans 08), I had connected to an awesome blogger by the name of Ninefold Dragon. He created a style of poetry called ninefold.

The poem has three stanzas. Each stanza has three lines. Each line has nine syllables. You can find his description in his own words here.

The first stanza has to talk about the physical world and appeal to the five senses. The second stanza deals with the mind, thoughts, and perceptions. The third and final stanza deals with the spiritual; it evokes a strong emotion or paints something in the supernatural realm.

Please note that each piece in the series is republished with my permission from my original blog and may not have all the notes and tag backs that the original had.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
