Based loosely on Nehemiah 10: 28–30, 29; 12: 43 (ESV)

Let us all join together — administrators, teachers, parents, students, and community members — especially those who have chosen Jesus. Let us agree by the Holy Spirit’s wisdom, discernment, and counsel that the Word of God is true, right, and just. As we teachers lead and guide our students, we will walk according to the Word of God regarding right and wrong behaviors. For the sake of those we teach and America’s future, we will not accept any way but God’s Way.

May we teachers who serve You remember our church families. May we remember our brothers and sisters in Christ love and pray for us, and may we pray for those children attending public schools. Let us not grow weary of meeting our brothers and sisters in Christ at the house of God.

Lord, give us joy again. Make us remember why You called us to be teachers. Renew and revive us in this calling. Let our joy be known to all.
