Sensory Overload

Thanks to 123rf for this image that absolutely describes the feeling of this poem

Too much motion
Too much sound
Too many people
Country mouse going down

Big, big buildings
Huge furniture all over
City streets mile upon mile
Wide open spaces can’t be found

Lights and horns
Cars and trucks
Music blares
Silence gets pushed out

Maybe this was dumb
Maybe this wasn’t right
Doesn’t matter
Must fight this fight
