I have seen the darkness,
And I have seen the light.
I have known the joy the light can bring,
And I have felt the pain of deeds done
In darkness by the dark.
I wander in the shadowlands,
The boundary of the borderclash of light and dark,
A shade tugged to and fro.
With full knowledge of the enticements of the dark,
I set my face toward the light,
Standing firm in hell on earth.
