They shook their heads.
They laughed.
They turned their backs.
They thought she’d change…
She danced barefoot in the moonlight.
She streaked her halls with joy.
She breathed for the first time in ages.
She sang herself into the very being they feared most.
They forgot one thing —
She who stands alone learns no other is needed.
She seeks only Him.
He’s already singing and dancing and leaping over her.
Why exactly does she need them again?!?
