Author’s Note: This year seems to be the year of education and social skills. In one of my classes, we were given a personality test, which triggered this free-form poem.
Twisting, twirling, swirling, curvy
Constant motion in many directions
Bruised, wounded, torn
By lines and angles
Of squares and rectangles and triangles
Circles can’t block dings by pointed ones
Holes never fit squigglies
Yet in difference
Strength is
Never break
Never bend
Against life’s flow
Create anew
