From Summer of Startups to Kiuas Accelerator
Remember Summer of Startups? Remember CatchBox, Leeluu, Venuu, FactoryFinder and co? The summer program that helped you realize your idea and launch your business? Well, hold your horses, because now it’s developed and rebranded into Kiuas Accelerator. And with “developed” we mean this accelerator program will change your life, kick your ass to start running towards your goals and exhaust all possibilities to achieve it. And with “rebranded” we mean better support, higher expectations and a one-of-a-kind community that makes sure you never forget why you started running in the first place.
Why Kiuas?
Kiuas is a mindset. Kiuas combines a community of doers, a co-working space and different programs to help ambitious people develop their business ideas and reach the milestone of first paying users. It’s a culture centered around risk taking, rule breaking, and most importantly getting stuff done.
Kiuas brings together former Aaltoes’ events TeamUp and Summer of Startups. It connects these two programs and with the new Incubator, Kiuas as a whole provides a better system to realize your goal of founding your own business with first paying users.
Individuals and teams from different idea stages can enter Kiuas and take advantage of the community, the network of coaches and the different programs. All you have to do is ask yourself if you are ready to level up!

Time to accelerate.
KIUAS Accelerator is a 10-week non-equity program designed to take your early-stage prototype to first revenue. The accelerator program is meant for those who want to speed up their idea development and realization.
The intensive program includes close one-on-one coaching from industry experts, support from empowering partners, and teachings from entrepreneurs that have been there and done that. In addition, the teams will be financially supported to make it through the summer with a good feeling.
How to apply?

- Validate your idea to make sure that it makes sense to pursue it!
- Submit application by May 18, 2017.
- Create a simple prototype to showcase the features during the interview stage. This means start building, sketching, wireframing… whatever you need to do to make your idea tangible and visual.
