Our current electricity grid was developed in the late 19th century. The old grid system is no longer efficient and needs to be modernized. Many grids are connected to a centralized system that requires regular and costly maintenance as well as high-voltage power areas. The solution is to reinvent new grid systems that will create solutions that will prevent blackouts and other problems.

Traditional grids are outdated and costly. Older than a century, these structures are no longer efficient. New microgrids that aren’t connected to a single central system is more reliable. If a breakdown occurs, a new grid system wouldn’t have to shutdown the entire power plant. New grids that are combined with smart inverters can be much cheaper and have less accidents and down time.

New inverters such as KiWi New Energy’s Smart Inverter, can immediately locate the problem and fix it. The current grid system can’t quickly solve problems such as network congestions. Grid imbalances spread rapidly and cause blackouts. New inventions like smart inverters are highly efficient and prevent complete blackouts. These can potentially save millions of dollars for utility companies.

New grid systems democratize the distribution of profits in electricity. Consumers should have access to transparent information on electricity pricing; this would allow them to make the most favorable decision. Current utility companies provide very little information and have monopoly over energy prices. KiWi New Energy’s smart inverters use blockchain technology; investors and consumers alike can easily access information on how much energy is produced, how the surplus is sold and how the profits are distributed.

Smart Microgrids are highly efficient. In traditional grid systems, about 5% of the electricity is lost every year on average during transmission and distribution in the United States. The current grid system is inflexible; it can’t support the development of renewable energy or other forms of technologies that would make it more sustainable. In particular, the fact that renewable resources, such as wind and solar, are intermittent, poses a significant problem to a grid that does not rapidly disseminate information to control centers. That is why there is a need for smart microgrids around the world.

KiWi New Energy’s latest technology provides solutions to all the problems that traditional grids can not cope with.

KiWi New Energy aims to change the way people invest in green energy by making solar investment easy for everyone. Unlike conventional solar energy companies, who look for large investors, we crowdsource solar projects. The income of investors will be distributed through our brand new cryptocurrency, the KIWI Token; this helps us cross borders, as well as help participants avoid lengthy bureaucracy. Our highly lucrative solar projects are ideal for investors who want to make the world a cleaner and better place.
