Kalonji Bankole is a developer advocate based in Los Angeles, California. He has been with IBM for nearly 4 years, and is currently part of their Emerging Technologies team. During his time at IBM, Kalonji has worked with several customers to enhance their day to day business operations by adopting cutting edge cloud technologies. Day to day, he works with open technologies such as Ansible, BOSH, Cloudfoundry, Docker, Openwhisk and MQTT to develop new IoT solutions for customers. He is currently working on Openwhisk, which is an open source event driven framework that was recently admitted to the Apache incubator. Kalonji has previously spoken at various Bluemix meetups, the 2014 Openstack Europe summit, and the 2016 OpenIoT Europe summit. He is an advocate for cognitive services, event driven architectures, and pub/sub messaging systems
