Klap Finance Testnet is Live!

Hello Klappers,

Today our Klap Finance testnet finally goes live. We invite you all to try it out.

Here’s how to do it:

1. First you need to add the Klaytn testnet to your wallet. We have a Metamask guide outlined here: https://docs.klap.finance/tutorials/connecting-to-klaytn.

The details to add are:

Network Name: Klaytn Baobab

New RPC URL: https://api.baobab.klaytn.net:8651/

Chain ID: 1001

Currency Symbol: KLAY

Block Explorer URL: https://baobab.scope.klaytn.com/

2. The next step is to get some testnet tokens to play around in the app with. To do this, go to https://testnet.klap.finance/faucet. You are going to need some testnet KLAY to pay for gas, so go ahead and press mint on that first.

IMPORTANT NOTE: SPECIFICALLY FOR METAMASK you must set both the Max Priority Fee to 250 GWEI and the Max Fee to 250 GWEI or else your transaction will fail. This is not an issue for other wallets. Screenshots below:

Enter your wallet address and the KLAY should arrive almost instantly in your wallet.

Now click mint on any of the other assets; DAI, USDC, USDT, wETH, wBTC.

At this point you are set to use the Klap app!
