Converting WEMIX Classic (WEMIX) to WEMIX 3.0 (oWEMIX)

The Wemix Classic token is a renamed version of the WEMIX token that previously existed on the Klaytn blockchain, and it differs from WEMIX of WEMIX 3.0’s mainnet. KLAYswap currently supports the WEMIX Classic token for Single Deposit, V2 Pair Deposit, Plus deposits, and Long/Short Position Deposit. Also, users can withdraw their WEMIX Classic assets and convert them to WEMIX of the WEMIX 3.0 mainnet. For instructions on converting the asset, please refer to the guidelines below.

oWEMIX asset is a bridged asset that was bridged to the Klaytn network from WEMIX 3.0 mainnet using Orbit Bridge. Check the following precautions before converting WEMIX.
WEMIX Conversion Precautions
1) Users can convert Klaytn network’s WEMIX Classic (WEMIX) token to WEMIX mainnet’s oWEMIX token. (1:1 Ratio)
2) Converted WEMIX (oWEMIX) cannot be converted back to WEMIX Classic (WEMIX), but swapping (trading) is possible.
3) Klaytn Chain fee is the only fee charged when converting.
4) The converted oWEMIX can still be used to supply liquidity and receive incentives on KLAYswap.
1. Move to the [Swap] menu and select “WEMIX.”
2. To Token: Select oWEMIX.
3. Once “From: WEMIX, To: oWEMIX” is selected, the screen will switch to Converter mode, and users can fill out the amount of WEMIX to convert, then press the [Convert] button.
4. Press the [Approve] button to approve the WEMIX token transaction. Click the [Convert] button after completing the approval transaction. Users can check the converted oWEMIX in their wallet after the transaction is complete.
* Users must approve the amount of WEMIX to be converted when setting the spending limit.
