Wormhole Bridge Guide 1: Transferring Assets From Ethereum Chain to Klaytn Chain
This guide helps you use Ethereum chain’s ERC20 assets on KLAYswap (Klaytn Chain) using the Wormhole Bridge.
※ To illustrate this guide, USDT (TetherUS) has been used as an example.
1. From / To
Visit Wormhole Bridge (https://portalbridge.com/) and select ‘Ethereum’ as the From network. Connect your wallet, choose the asset, and enter the quantity. Enter ‘Klaytn’ as the To network, and connect the wallet to receive the tokens. Select [Approve and proceed with transaction].
※ You must have enough ETH and KLAY in your connected wallet to cover the transaction fee.
2. Transaction — Token Transfer
Approve the wallet’s request for a token transfer.
3. Bridge
Wait for Confirmation. After Confirmation, click Claim.
4. Transaction — Receive Token
Approve the wallet’s request to receive tokens.
4. After the bridging has been completed, click the [Add USDT to your wallet] button at the bottom to add the token to your wallet. Make sure that your wallet network is set to ‘Klaytn Mainnet Cypress’ and verify the USDT received.
Wormhole Bridge Guide 2: Transfer from BNB Smart Chain to Klaytn Chain
If you wish to use assets on KLAYswap (Klaytn Chain) after withdrawing assets from Binance Exchange to your personal wallet (BNB Smart Chain), follow the guide below and proceed to step 3 (Confirm tokens sent from my wallet).
