Today, we’d like to introduce the first batch of our initial service partners that will be working with us towards providing a substantial blockchain service for mass adoption.
As we have discussed in previous posts, Klaytn is dedicated to validating the value and utility of blockchain technology by creating a real use case. We focus on providing an optimized platform for service providers to develop and operate DApps, as well as enhancing user experience by providing a broad spectrum of blockchain services. In doing so, we have thus partnered with leading enterprises in various industry domains, including games, entertainment, healthcare, finance, etc., that already have a great number of active users on their services. Furthermore, we plan to make additional partnerships with more prominent corporates in a variety of industries thereby expanding our spectrum.
By using the deployed Klaytn testnet, the partners contribute towards further supplementing the platform and releasing DApp services for the mainnet launch. Together with our partners, we hope to scale the reach of blockchain in market and of course, ultimately, contribute towards popularizing blockchain.
The list of 9 initial services is as follows:
- Wemade Tree, connecting Wemade’s diverse portfolio of IP-based game contents with blockchain
- Piction Network, the digital contents ecosystem incentivizing user participation with focus on individual creators, as powered by Battle Entertainment
- Hint Chain, the food data marketplace with 3.5 million users, to be applied to the popular recipe service called Haemuknamnyeo
- Sportsplex, the fantasy sports service covering popular leagues including MLB and NBA, as developed by former CEO and core members of NHN Black Pick
- Airbloc Protocol, the personal data marketplace for targeted advertising, business intelligence and research, as led by ab180
- Cosmochain, the beauty contents platform integrated into beauty-themed social network service ‘Cosmee’ with fully-functioning user incentivizing features serving over 10,000 DAU’s
- VETTA, a crowdfunding platform for promising games selected by GTR, the top global game accelerator
- Humanscape, the data marketplace handling patient-generated health data through blockchain with established partnership with major medical institutions
- Rayon, the subsidiary of Finda, developing a marketplace for counteroffer loan products
Klaytn plans to make additional partnerships with established corporates, and the 2nd batch of partners will be released soon. In addition to initial service partners, Klaytn also has different partnership programs including Tech Alliance, Consensus Partners, and Ecosystem Partners based on the partners’ distinguishing characteristics and contributions. Tech Alliance is a group of prominent technical firms cooperating with us towards enhancing the platform, while Consensus Partners are the trusted entities leading the IT industry with their unparalleled services and hardwares, whereas Ecosystem Partners are the leading business partners and portfolio companies with great networks bringing many different service providers to join Klaytn.
