Celebrating the Klaytn Champions of xHack: A Cross-Chain Hackathon

Klaytn was honored to support xHack, Wormhole’s inaugural cross-chain hackathon, as a track sponsor! Centering around interoperability and composability, xHack brought together a vibrant community of blockchain developers, as well as teams from various leading blockchains to mentor and assist new buidlers in the Web3 space.
The hackathon was a month-long hive of activity, with over 150 innovative buidlers participating. Our talented developers were on site to offer guidance and support to Klaytn buidlers, and to share more about Klaytn’s advanced technical architecture, which enables fast operation with immediate finality and one of the lowest average transaction latencies in the industry.
While many projects held promise, 3 projects in particular caught our eye:
Champion: xAbelian
Prize: USD$5,000 in USDC
xAbelian is a multi-chain dynamic NFT platform that enables users to own and trade NFTs across multiple blockchain networks. With synchronous multi-chain state updates and high data availability, users will be able to own NFTs with dynamic metadata that is automatically updated and synchronized across all chains, providing instant proof of ownership.
As a Klaytn gamer, you’ll then be able to prove your achievements and tokens on other chains without locking and minting on other chains!

#1: Canoe Finance
Prize: USD$1,000 in USDC
With a vision of making DeFi accessible to all, Canoe Finance is building an open-source DeFi software development kit (SDK) for mobile platforms. In addition to its mobile SDKs, Canoe’s Pikeman is a co-liquidity pool for small trades and act as a bridge between Web3 traders and Web2 consumers.
#2: Mira Finance
Prize: USD$1,000 in USDC
Mira Finance is building the Vanguard of crypto with on-chain index fund tokens so investors get broad, diversified exposure to crypto assets in one click. Its priority is to bring trust back to the crypto space by seeking to be US compliant and uphold institutional grade security by holding underlying assets with a regulated custodian.
