Back on March 19th, we had over 200 partners and journalists in attendance hailing from all quarters of the world to join us for the exclusive ‘Klaytn Partners Day’ at Kakao Pangyo Office.
We are working with leading firms and businesses wielding significant influence in their respective regions across North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, China, and Japan, and we wanted to provide an opportunity for all of our invited partners — Klaytn Governance Council members, Ecosystem Partners, and Initial Service Partners — for the latest updates on business, technology, and vision.
Team Klaytn —Jun, the Head of Technology and Vincent, the Head of Business — joined Jason to greet the partners and share Klaytn’s vision, technical roadmaps, and businesses, including the details on the successful seed round of funding. Mason and Maydeen, the CEO and CTO of Kakao, respectively, also took the stage to discuss how Kakao and Klaytn are working together.
The highlight of the event was the presentations by Klaytn’s initial service partners. The 9 partners among the 26 in industries of games, entertainment, healthcare, finance, commerce, lifestyle, and technology, shared their business models, visions, and roadmaps. They are some of the most powerful global service providers with massive user base. With a mission to create substantial real use cases, they work towards further reinforcing the Klaytn ecosystem by releasing their BApps (Blockchain Applications). They also prioritize their efforts to expand Kakao’s locally proven business success in producing massive-user based popular services further into global markets.
The event ended with a networking dinner followed by more discussions amongst the attendees. We plan to continue to continue working with our partners, and also hope to hold more events to further strengthen the Klaytn ecosystem.
