Today, we are going to provide you with a summary of the very first public webinar from Klaytn where the main topics of discussion were focused on NFTs and future developments that Klaytn has in store for its users. The stars of our first panel were the builders driving the growth of Klaytn’s NFT ecosystem — the Klaytn NFT players.

The Event

On June,15th at 10:00pm PST, we streamed a live panel exploring our thriving NFT ecosystem. The panel was conducted initially in Korean, but a English subtitled video will be uploaded to Klaytn’s official YouTube for our global audience.

  • Overview of Klaytn’s NFT Ecosystem
  • Introductions to Key NFT projects being built on Klaytn
  • A Panel Discussion on the Future of NFT’s and Klaytn’s NFT Ecosystem

Building the Klaytn NFT Ecosystem

The focal topic of the webinar revolved around the NFT market, and the innovation brought by Klaytn to this market. Klaytn has continued to announce a string of NFT-related milestones over the past month — from the launch of KrafterSpace — Klaytn’s proprietary open NFT creation platform, to the integration of the Klaytn blockchain on OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT marketplace.

Ecosystem partners such as MyTems launched their social-focused NFT platform, Project WITH launched their sporting NFT platform, while Kingdom Glory — an NFT blockchain game built on Klaytn also went live.

Discussing future strategies and roadmap, the Klaytn team outlined their initiatives to continue growing Klaytn’s NFT ecosystem by developing both proprietary projects and partnerships.

The Future Looks Bright

At the closing of the session, Yunho Lee the head of Klaytn business, stated the following;

We, Klaytn, have worked hard for the last two years to build out the base NFT ecosystem infrastructure since Klaytn’s mainnet went live in June 2019. During this period, we focused on on-boarding 3rd party services via partnerships, but starting this year, there has been an explosion of organic service launches and ecosystem participants.

Next Steps — Engagement and Dialogue

More public webinars are in the pipeline from the Klaytn team to facilitate more engagement with the greater community. From exploring Klaytn’s DeFi ecosystem to providing overviews of our initiatives and programs designed to grow Klaytn’s infrastructure — greater dialogue and an open invitation to the community to join in on the discussions outlining Klaytn’s future are key objectives.
