[Notice] Klaytn v1.1.1 Release and Core Cell Update on Baobab & Cypress

Klaytn v1.1.1 will be released on Friday, August 23. The changes are as follows:

• Supported calling a smart contract method at the given block number
• Supported multiple staking contracts for governance council members
• Consensus messages are propagated to governance council members to sync round numbers

According to the release of Klaytn v1.1.1, Core Cells (CCs) on Baobab and Cypress will be updated to Klaytn v1.1.1.

Detailed schedules for updates are as follow:

1. Cypress

• 8/24 ~ 9/4 Cypress EN update. All ENs should be updated during this period.
• 9/5 ~ 9/10 Cypress CC update.

2. Baobab

• 8/24 ~ 8/25 Baobab EN update. All ENs should be updated during this period.
• 8/26 ~ 8/28 Baobab CC update.

WARNING: EN should be updated to Klaytn v1.1.1 before the CC update. Block synchronization can fail on ENs with previous versions.
