Kleros Early Juror Program: an Overwhelming Answer by the Community

5,000 juror slots filled in just 14 hours…

Last Friday, we recently launched Kleros’ Early Juror Program in order to recruit jurors for pilots on our technology.

A key part of our research and development roadmap involves testing and calibrating the mechanism that allows Kleros to produce fair rulings. This requires conducting empirical research in order to understand juror voting patterns, identify voting biases and optimize the mechanism design for speed and cost of resolution.

The program included a small airdrop of Kleros’ token, the Pinakion (PNK), to the community. The token plays a key role in the incentive mechanism. Users need to deposit PNK into a subcourt in order to be eligible as jurors (different subcourts are specialized in different types of disputes. For example, freelancing, e-commerce, insurance, etc).

Our intention was to release a small portion (0.5% of the total supply) of PNK to the first 5,000 participants to apply within 10 days.

We were overwhelmed by the response from the community. The 5,000 spots filled in just 14 hours.

To those who registered into Kleros’ Early Juror Program, the airdrop tokens will be sent out within 30 days after the first round of our token sale ends. We will inform you in due course about the pilots we plan to do in the domains of token curated lists and e-commerce, among others.

If you didn’t get to register for the program, after the token sale we will announce more opportunities for you to participate.

The launch of Kleros’ Early Juror Program was a huge success. On behalf of all the team, thanks for the massive support you’re showing towards the project. We look forward to starting the early pilots and collaborating with the community.

Stay tuned!
