Another awesome update from Knack is here (version 1.5.2). Here are the main changes.
For Students:
- My Courses — add enrolled courses for better tutor recommendations
- Tutor Profile Sharing — earn free credit by sharing tutor profiles 🤑
For Tutors:
- Knack Students can now find you on the web, not just in the app!
- Enhanced profile sharing makes marketing yourself even easier and more effective
- You can now set a username to personalize your profile URL

Under ‘My Courses’, add your enrolled courses for better tutor recommendations💡
Tutor Profile Sharing — Earn More Credit 🤑
Need some extra credit 💵 ? Now earn even more credit by sharing a tutor’s profile!
From a tutor’s profile, share a link that will take people directly to their profile on the web or in the app. It will display rich content from their profile when you post it in Groups or on Facebook/Twitter, or when you send it through text.
Tutors
Your Web Tutor Profile!
Students can now find your tutor profile on the web, not just in the app. This will allow for far greater visibility of your profile as it will now populate in Google’s search results (SEO-friendly 🤗). Google picks up on keywords like the courses you tutor, your pitch/bio, experience, etc. so remember to keep your profile fresh!
Enhanced Profile Sharing
You can now share a link that will take students directly to your tutor profile on the web. This link will also display rich content from your profile when you post it on Facebook and Twitter, or when you send it through text.
This allows students to preview your profile without having to download the app; and when they choose to engage with you (message or request), they’ll be pushed to the app and will land right on your profile! Check out some best practices for sharing your profile.
Custom Username
You can now set a custom username to personalize your profile URL — hurry and claim your Knack handle!
