Here’s how you win

Winning Formula

Numbers on a ticket must match the “winning numbers” in order, from left to right, to win a prize. Even matching just the first number wins you a prize! The more numbers you match, the larger the prize pool. If you match all 6 numbers on your ticket in the exact same order as the 6 winning numbers, you stand to win the lottery jackpot (40% of the entire lottery pool)

Each prize pool is split amongst all tickets that had the required matched numbers for that pool. For example, if two tickets matched all 6 winning numbers, each ticket holder would win 20% of the total lottery pool (half of the 40% allocated to the jackpot prize pool).

For example, if the final 6winning numbers are “2–3–4–5–6–7”

  • “2–3–4–5–6–7” = match all numbers, 40% of the pot won, or split if more than 1 winner.
  • “2–3–4–5–6–8” = match 5 numbers, 20% of the pot won, or split if more than 1 winner.
  • “2–3–4–5–5–7” = match 4 numbers, 10% of the pot won, or split if more than 1 winner.
  • “2–3–4–4–4–4” = match 3, 5% of the pot won, or split if more than 1 winner.
  • “2–3–3–4–4–4” = match 2, 3% of the pot won, or split if more than 1 winner.
  • “2–7–3–0–6–7” = match 1, 2% of the pot won, or split if more than 1 winner- no prize
  • “0–2–3–4–5–6” = match 0, no prize
  • “1–3–4–5–6–7” = match 0, no prize

How to start

Be sure to have your wallet connected to the dApp. If you need help please see the KNIGHT gitboo

If you are on the wrong network or don’t have your wallet connected then you will see the below screen.

Approve your $KNIGHT

Pay the transaction fee to approve by pressing “confirm” in your wallet pop-up.

The Lottery Prize Pool

The prizes for the lottery pools come from the $KNIGHT that players used to pay for their lottery tickets. 100% of ticket sales go directly into the total prize pot!

To make the pot even sweeter, KnightSwap injects ~$500 USD in $KNIGHT each week from our own treasury.

Whenever a lottery jackpot (or any other prize pool) isn’t won, the remaining $KNIGHT from prize pools that haven’t been won will be carried over to the next round’s total prize pool; the longer it has been since someone has won the jackpot, the larger the lottery prize pool will be.

Near the top of the page, you’ll be able to see the total pot that is eligible to be won, as well as the corresponding prizes for the number of matches to the right.

With each lotto round, 20% of the total prize pot is reserved to be sent to the burn address. This will only occur if a prize has been won for the round. If no one wins, the $KNIGHT will be carried over to the following round. These weekly burns are just one of the first of many ways Knight Ecosystem is working toward a deflationary $KNIGHT and continuing to provide reliable and sustainable yields!

Check to see winning numbers

This can be found toward the middle of the page.

Keep in mind that in order to win, you must also match the order of the winning numbers.

Viewing past draws

You can view the history of all the previous Lotto draws by typing in the desired round #, or clicking “your history” to see rounds you participated in.

In the above this example, round 5 was chosen and you can see the stats for the 5th draw.

FAQs

  1. What happens with the prize if there is no winner? For every prize category that has no winner, 100% will get automatically rolled over to the following lottery draw.
  2. I have numbers on my ticket that matches the lottery draw. Why am I not a winner? The matching numbers must match in the same order, from left to right, to win. See the Winning Formula section above for detailed explanations and examples. If there is still an issue with claiming prizes after double-checking the winning numbers match appropriately, please get in contact with us in our Discord.
  3. What’s the max number of tickets I can buy for the lottery? There is no maximum, you can buy as many lottery tickets as you want!
