22 Promoted to Chicago in 2017…
The 2017 Charlotte Knights season will be remembered for many things. The team’s fourth overall in BB&T Ballpark in Uptown Charlotte — and 30th in franchise history — had many highs, including a lengthy list of top prospects, sell-out crowds, great promotions, historic moments, and much more.
Despite the team’s 61–81 overall season record, a total of 22 players were promoted to the Chicago White Sox in 2017. Out of the 22 players, 19 of them are currently on Chicago’s roster. A total of 20 are currently in the majors with RHP Tommy Kahnle on the New York Yankees roster after a trade earlier this year.
