The Chicago White Sox announced seven roster moves on Friday, March 6.

· Optioned RHP Matt Foster to Class AAA Charlotte;

· Optioned RHPs Dane Dunning and Jimmy Lambert to Class AA Birmingham;

· Reassigned RHPs Ryan Burr and Jonathan Stiever, LHP Hunter Schryver and INF Matt Skole to minor-league camp.

MATT FOSTER
Foster, 25, posted a solid 2019 campaign with the Charlotte Knights. The Alabama native went 4–1 with four saves and a 3.76 ERA in 37 games (55 IP/62 SO). Originally drafted in the 20th round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft out of the University of Alabama, Foster owns a 2.52 ERA over four minor league seasons (132 games). Over that span, he has also accumulated 31 saves and 218 strikeouts over 182.0 innings pitched.

MATT SKOLE
Skole, 30, has spent parts of the past two seasons with the Chicago White Sox and the Charlotte Knights. Last season with the Knights, Skole hit .248 with 65 runs scored, 15 doubles, 21 home runs, and 56 RBIs over 92 games. His 21 home runs were second on the team behind Daniel Palka’s 27.

In two seasons combined with the Knights, Skole has recorded 115 runs scored, 180 hits, 43 doubles, 35 home runs, and 100 RBIs.
