THE LAST KNIGHTS GAME: The Charlotte Knights concluded their three-game series against the Louisville Bats on Wednesday with a 2–1 loss in 10 innings from Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, KY. With a runner placed on second base to start the inning, Louisville’s Blake Trahan dropped down a sacrifice bunt on the first pitch he saw from Charlotte RHP Rob Scahill (1–1, 5.40). Charlotte third baseman Ryan Brett fielded the ball and made a throwing error, which allowed Louisville’s Steve Selsky to score the game-winning run.
