KNIGHT LIGHTS: The Charlotte Knights (25–42, 7th) will continue a six-game road series from Durham Bulls Athletic Park against the Durham Bulls (47–20) tonight. Game four of the six-game set takes place tonight with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. from Durham, NC. The Knights enter tonight’s game with a season-long losing streak of 11 consecutive games. Charlotte’s last win came on July 9 at Jacksonville by a score of 11–6.

KNIGHTS VS. BULLS: The Knights will face the Bulls tonight for the 16th time this season — all coming in Durham, NC. The two teams have yet to meet this season in Uptown Charlotte. The Bulls, who have the best record in all of Triple-A Baseball (47–20), are now 12–3 against the Knights so far this season after winning last night’s game, 5–3. The Bulls have outscored the Knights 16–9 so far in this series.

ABOUT LAST KNIGHT
: INF Zach Remillard and OF Mikie Mahtook launched solo home runs, but the Charlotte Knights dropped game three of the six-game series against the Durham Bulls from Durham Bulls Athletic Park by a score of 5–3 on Thursday.

REHABBING: Chicago White Sox outfielders Eloy Jiménez and Jake Lamb continued their MLB Rehab Assignments last night. Jiménez, who is on Chicago’s 60-day Injured List, is hitting .258 (8-for-31) with one homer and one RBI in eight games on rehab with the Knights. He had surgery to repair a ruptured left pectoral tendon two days before the start of the 2021 regular season. In five games on rehab, Lamb is hitting .250 with one homer and two RBIs. He was placed on Chicago’s 10-day Injured List on June 29 with a strained right quadriceps.

ZACH ATTACK
: INF Zach Remillard launched his seventh home run of the season last night and fifth in the month of July. Remillard has enjoyed hitting in the leadoff spot this season with the home run his fifth this year as Charlotte’s leadoff hitter.

MIKIE LIKES IT: OF Mikie Mahtook homered in the ninth inning last night. It was his team-high 14th homer of the season, his second in the series and third over his last four games. For the season, Mahtook — a former Durham Bulls slugger — is Charlotte’s leader in home runs (14) and is fifth in RBIs (30) and tied for second in runs scored (30).

TOKNIGHTS STARTING PITCHER: RHP Mike Wright (5–3, 3.33), the Triple-A East Pitcher of the Month for June, gets the start tonight in game four, his 13th start of the season. Wright is currently among the Top 10 Triple-A East leaders in a number of categories. His 3.33 ERA is third in the Triple-A East. He is also tied for ninth in strikeouts (66), tied for ninth in wins (5), third in batting average against (.195), third in WHIP (1.01), third in IP (73.0) and ninth in win percentage (.625).
