LHP Josh Osich becomes the second player this season to earn a promotion to the Chicago White Sox, joining RHP Carson Fulmer (April 8). Osich, 30, was claimed off waivers by the Chicago White Sox from the Baltimore Orioles on March 11, 2019 and began the 2019 season with the Charlotte Knights. He made three relief appearances with the Knights and went 0–0 with a 2.25 ERA (4.0 IP).
LHP Aaron Bummer began the 2019 season on Charlotte’s Injured List and has been activated today. He appeared in 37 games with the White Sox in 2018 and went 0–1 with a 4.26 ERA (31.2 IP).
RHP Zach Thompson, 25, was 1–0 with a 5.06 ERA in four games (5.1 IP) with the Knights this season.
