RHP Carson Fulmer becomes the first player from Charlotte’s 2019 Opening Day roster to receive a promotion to the Chicago White Sox this season. Fulmer, 25, appeared in the April 5th game for the Knights and allowed one run on two hits over 2.1 innings pitched. He was selected by the White Sox in the first round (eighth overall) of the June 2015 First-Year Player Draft.
LHP Brian Clark began the 2019 season with the Double-A Barons and appeared in one game with the club on April 5th (1.0 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 SO).
OF Ryan Cordell was optioned to Charlotte after Chicago’s game on April 7th and appeared in three games with the team. He hit .333 (2-for-6) with one double, one home run, and three RBIs for the White Sox after making their 2019 Opening Day roster.
