Notes: Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson began a Major League Baseball Rehab Assignment with the Knights at BB&T Ballpark on Wednesday, July 24th. Anderson, 26, appeared in five games with the Knights and hit .348 (8-for-23) with three runs scored, one double, one home run, and four RBIs. For the season, Anderson is batting .317 (86-for-271) with 39 runs scored, 14 doubles, 11 home runs, 37 RBIs, and 15 stolen bases over 70 games with the White Sox. He was placed on the team’s IL on June 28 (retroactive to June 26).
RHP Carson Fulmer has appeared in 22 games with the Knights this season and is 1–1 with one save and a 4.50 ERA (32.0 IP/49 SO). Today’s promotion is his fifth of the season to Chicago. He is 1–1 with a 6.32 ERA in 12 games (one game started) with the White Sox this season (15.2 IP).
OF Ryan Cordell has appeared in seven games with the Knights this season and is hitting .323 (10-for-31) with six runs scored, one double, one triple, one home run, and six RBIs. He hit-for-the-cycle on April 10, 2019 at BB&T Ballpark.
