On Sunday, March 12, the Chicago White Sox optioned to familiar faces to the Charlotte Knights — infielder Lenyn Sosa and catcher Carlos Pérez.

The 2022 season was a breakout campaign for both Sosa and Pérez. Both players are members of Chicago’s 40-man roster and spent some time on the South Side last season. Both also excelled in Uptown Charlotte.
