It has definitely been a busy two days for the Chicago White Sox. A day after dealing LHP Chris Sale to the Boston Red Sox for four prospects — the team dealt fan-favorite Adam Eaton to the Washington Nationals for three more prospects. Both Sale and Eaton made rehab appearances with the Knights in 2014 (both on the same day in Durham on May 17).

In all, the White Sox added seven prospects in two days — including the top overall prospect, Yoan Moncada, and the top pitching prospect, Lucas Giolito. Moncada, along with Michael Kopech, Luis Basabe and Victor Diaz, were acquired from the Red Sox on Tuesday for Sale.

On Wednesday, the White Sox received Giolito and fellow right-handed pitchers Reynaldo Lopez and Dane Dunning. With the addition of those three talented arms, the White Sox now possess four of the top 38 prospects in all of baseball. I’ll have more on all of the prospects in upcoming blogs. Stay tuned.

Overall, the White Sox top Top 10 Prospect list, according to MLB.com now looks like this:

1.) INF Yoan Moncada
2.) RHP Lucas Giolito
3.) RHP Michael Kopech
4.) RHP Reynaldo Lopez
5.) RHP Carson Fulmer
6.) C Zack Collins
7.) RHP Spencer Adams
8.) RHP Zack Burdi
9.) OF Luis Alexander Basabe
10.) RHP Dane Dunning

With the two recent trades, Chicago’s Top 10 list features four players drafted by the team (all four in bold) and six acquired at the Winter Meetings.
