On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, the Chicago White Sox wrapped up their spring season backed by an impressive performance from RHP Dylan Cease. Let’s take a look at his 11-strikeout game and other former Knights who excelled on Tuesday.

DYLAN CEASE — In his final tuneup before the start of the 2021 season, Cease put on a show in Tuesday’s spring finale. The 25-year-old righty fanned 11 batters over 5.1 innings pitched. He allowed one run — a solo home run to Colorado’s C.J. Cron in the second inning.

Cease will make his 2021 season debut in game four of Chicago’s series against the L.A. Angels of Anaheim on Sunday in California. He went 5–4 with a 4.01 ERA last season with the White Sox in 58.1 innings pitched (12 games started).

LUIS ROBERT — Robert finished up his spring with a solid effort on Tuesday. The Chicago center fielder went 1-for-2 with a run scored and his sixth stolen base of the spring campaign.

TIM ANDERSON — With another hit on Tuesday, Anderson ended the spring season with an eight-game hit streak. He finished overall with a .333 batting average and had 13 hits over his last eight games.

AVISAÍL GARCÍA — The former Knights and White Sox slugger finished off his solid spring on Tuesday with a two-RBI game for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 19 games during the spring season, García hit .313 (15-for-48) with nine runs scored, four home runs and 13 RBIs.
