Alchemical Nature

A poem of desire

If I were a bird fluttering by, I’d lead you the other way
Knowing me will scathe thee
But the pleasure of my depths will transform thee
I’ll burn you alive

None so far can withstand my alchemical nature
Are you willing to perish?
I burn while you yearn
You surrender to the phoenix flames

Loves gifts remove you from yourself
Your loves dances for me even when you do not
Your longing and my lips find each other across the great sand sea
You dissolve into my irresistible lake of fire

Everything you will never know
A delicious longing for that which is hidden
You conform to my body & mind, and I to yours
My words spill warm from the honeycomb; sweeten every moment

Like a mythical creature, I appear, then shelter from your eyes
What do you seek?
The power to transform energy into life force
My alchemy
