Breaking Generational Love Curses
It could be the ultimate test of our time.
I can’t tell you how often my mother has told me that someone in our family is like her brother, mother, or father, or how strange and uncanny it feels to say something or behave a certain way that reminds me of one of my grandmothers. It’s as if their essence lingers through me, echoing around my beating heart like a long-forgotten whisper.
I swear, sometimes, I can feel and connect to people I’ve never known by name or awareness. I can sense them in my bones, filling my shoes and thoughts, influencing me in the most subtle ways, good and not-so-good.
I won’t let their curses bring me down.
A generational curse isn’t just some vague, mystical concept — it’s a pattern of behavior or habit passed down through the ages, deeply rooted in your family’s history. The idea might sound abstract or even otherworldly. I get it. How can you break a generational curse or heal something that happened long before you were born, affecting people you have never met and might not even know about?
Well, think about this — we all have an inner voice. Sometimes, it’s positive self-talk: I can do it. I’m good enough. I can make the change. I’ve got this, etc.
