Upon your journey through this life,
When you will find yourself beset with strife
And you wonder how all these pieces fit,
Know that to the truth the nearer you’ll get,
If you have three friends watch your back.
Then peace and joy you’ll never lack.
Truth, Beauty, and Goodness — these heavenly three;
You could find no greater company.

— Janaka Stagnaro

I have had the joy and grace to be surrounded by these three companions for over 25 years daily, being a Waldorf teacher, teaching in a system that these three are the pillars of the education we surround our students. I have grown so much — culturally, artistically, spiritually. The training and teaching foster one to become a Renaissance person, which was a time when truth, beauty, and goodness were extolled.
