as I “swim” between alpha and theta waves.
I semi-sense your presence.
Your eye is there; you're just watching.

I decide before diving — because then
I consciously surrender to semi-consciousness — .
I invite you with a mental “come with me”.
But I usually say “I know I have to dive alone”.
