Enough,
Feeling lonely.
Feeling you were left behind,
Feeling you missed out.

Enough,
Feeling lost,
Feeling inadequate,
Feeling incomplete.

Enough,
Missing what wasn’t yours.
Feeling like you lost out,
Feeling hurt, miserable and gutted.

Enough,
Feeling that there is nothing left.
Feeling you don’t deserve,
To feel exquisite.

Enough,
I said to this all.
Comparing to what if,
And what could be.

Because now I know,
That I have been steered,
To a path,
That is meant to be.

Thank you coach Spyder for this thought-provoking prompt.

It helped me to say ‘enough’ to the thoughts that don’t serve me anymore.

Thank you to KTHT editors Diana C., Spyder, Ravyne Hawke and jules for always cheering us on to be our authentic self and for motivating us write from the heart.
