FEEL
Just fucking feel
Why are we so afraid?
Walking, but hiding as if in plain sight can’t be seen
Our shield says,
Don’t look at me
Don’t make eye contact
For if you peak my soul
You might see that we are the same
So don’t look at me
Our shield says
Look down
Walk faster
Hide
WHY?

Let them see you!
Smell the intoxicating pollen of lavender blue
As your aura surrounds them
Let them feel you
The warmth of a thousand summer rays
Chest to chest
Cheek to cheek
Embrace the stranger
The lover
The friend

Offer your being of tenderness through maple leaves and sweet honey bees
So that love to the stranger
Is with them through the lightless tunnels
And the rocky sands
That no doubt await us all
Offer love without reason or sanity
Because this is the point
Feel deeply, so that it moves you
as strong as a rip current rolls you and steals your breathe
Let it take you to depths of the seas unseen
And the bottom of the mug on a Sunday morning
Let it be you
Let it fill you
I beg you
Just feel
