Birthday musings

06.06. Today is my birthday, which I’m celebrating with my parents and my wonderful partner at a resort spa.

Even though the past year has been full of challenges there are many things to be grateful for. In the last 12 months I wrote a novel in my native tongue, which I then translated into English and proceeded to editing it for an oncoming summer launch (fingers crossed), I worked tirelessly on myself and unearthed more and more of my inner light, the bond with my partner grew that much stronger, our (Ron Weasley the) cat is fatter and more adorable than ever, my parents were inspired to do some promising changes on themselves, we explored more of our beautiful country, and in the last two months I’ve been discovering you beautiful people. You inspire me every day, making me wish for more, for deeper, for truer. I don’t have writer friends, but in this community I’ve found my tribe, full of fantastic, gentle souls. My heartfelt thanks for each and every one of you. The Universe does have a stellar way of making things happen.

Never underestimate the power of gratitude and never take anything for granted.
